Families and students get in at a sponsored rate — that never changes. On top of that sits a professional day and a closed-door executive evening, plus experiences you can add to any pass.
The convention runs as three overlapping bands. Each opens a different room, at a different hour, at a different price — so a family can spend nothing and a company can spend six figures on the same day, and both get their money's worth.
All day, 9:00–5:00. Families, students, educators, the curious.
Expo floor, main-stage talks, the supervised Juniors Room, and the media-literacy materials.
11:00–6:00. Practitioners, builders, security teams.
Hands-on workshops, the sanctioned CTF range, faculty Q&A, the runway, and roundtable seats.
6:00–10:00, closed door. Leadership, boards, agencies.
Private briefings, boardroom tables, written assessments, and year-round faculty advisory.
Buy one pass per band, or stack them. A Pro Pass includes everything in Band A; an Executive Day includes everything in Bands A and B.
Underwritten by sponsors so that cost is never the reason a family stays home. Sponsored passes are capped by room capacity and released in waves.
Sponsor-underwritten. Up to 2 adults + 3 kids.
With school ID or district email.
Anyone. Walk-up available if capacity allows.
Pays your seat forward — funds one sponsored family seat.
Hands-on rooms with faculty in them. Includes full Band A access. Workshop seats are capped by bench count on the sanctioned range.
Practitioners and builders.
Teams sending working staff.
The full public-facing day.
Directors, founders, senior staff.
Sustained, private time with faculty — not a handshake in a hallway. Every engagement produces something you keep: a recording, a written assessment, or a standing advisory line. Sold by application; we decline engagements we cannot staff well.
One org, up to 8 people.
Leadership teams and boards.
Organizations that need this past one day.
Deep, year-round institutional partnership.
Add any of these to any pass, including a sponsored one. Each runs in a scheduled window so the floor never turns into a scrum — and so faculty get real breaks.
Signed field guide, book, or your own item. One faculty member per window, line capped and timed.
Professionally lit and shot with a faculty member. Digital delivery same day, print available on site.
The adult track's four sessions run back to back, ending in "Teaching it forward" — you practice-facilitate and leave able to run the Civics Lab in your own classroom. Includes the printed classroom kit.
The same intensive, underwritten by the educator scholarship pool for teachers from Title I and rural districts. Apply at registration; no documentation theater.
Reserved front-row seat for the device and build runway — new hardware, student builds, and the showcase walk.
Sit in the room for a faculty roundtable. You listen and can submit written questions; participants hold the floor.
Eight people, one faculty member, thirty minutes, no stage. Real conversation with a question you actually get to ask.
Fifteen private minutes on your specific problem — a build, a breach, a curriculum, a policy question.
Seated dinner between Bands B and C. Faculty are distributed across tables, not seated together.
The printed convention field guide plus the Ethics and Civics lab workbooks, signed by the faculty who wrote them.
Not a perk — it funds Juniors Room seats, travel stipends, and take-home device packages for kids who need them.
The convention is one day; what was said in it shouldn't be. These are the products that carry the knowledge past the venue — and they're what makes marquee faculty worth the honorarium.
Individual access.
The written synthesis of the year's faculty work.
Companies, districts, and agencies.
We charge a lot at the top so we can charge nothing at the bottom. If you're paying for Band C, this is what your money is actually doing.
Every Supporter, Executive, and sponsor dollar underwrites Band A capacity first.
Screened, background-checked mentors, two-adult rule, and take-home device packages.
Isolated, authorized lab infrastructure — never anyone else's networks, ever.
Honoraria and travel that let us ask serious people for a serious day of their time.
Band A opens to the public when dates are announced. Band B and Band C are sold by application — tell us who you are and what you need out of the day.
